These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to distance contracts concluded on the vitrio.hu webstore operated by ServFaces Hungary Kft. (the "Operator"). The Terms are based on Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between a consumer and a business, Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, and Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.
1. Operator details
Full identification and contact details are on the Imprint page. Summary:
- Company: ServFaces Hungary Kft.
- Registered office: [KITÖLTENDŐ: registered address]
- Registry number: [KITÖLTENDŐ]
- Tax number: [KITÖLTENDŐ]
- Email: [KITÖLTENDŐ: customer service email]
- Phone: [KITÖLTENDŐ: customer service phone]
2. Subject and products
The Operator sells Vitrio screen protection films designed for in-car displays (touchscreens, instrument cluster screens) and the matching install kit. The key features, compatibility and package contents are described on each product page. Product images are illustrative.
3. Prices
On the Hungarian store, prices are in Hungarian forint (HUF) and include value added tax (currently 27% VAT). On the English store for EU customers prices are shown in euro (EUR). The Operator reserves the right to change prices; changes take effect upon publication and do not affect orders already placed. If, despite all care, a clearly erroneous price is shown (for example a price that deviates conspicuously from the market price, or a 0 price due to a system error), the Operator is not obliged to sell at the erroneous price and may offer performance at the correct price, which the Customer may then decline.
4. Ordering and contract formation
- The Customer adds the product to the cart, then enters shipping and billing details at checkout and selects a shipping and payment method.
- Before submitting, the Customer can review and correct the data and the cart. Pressing the order button (which clearly states a payment obligation) constitutes a binding offer with a payment obligation.
- The Operator confirms receipt of the order immediately by automated email. This automated confirmation records the order; it does not constitute acceptance of the offer.
- The contract is formed when the Operator separately confirms the order or dispatches the product. The confirmation email contains the order number, the items, prices, shipping and payment details.
- If the Operator does not send a confirmation within 48 hours of the offer, the Customer is released from the offer.
5. Payment methods
- Card (Stripe): instant, secure online payment via Stripe. The Operator does not see or store card data.
- Cash on delivery: the price is paid to the courier or at the parcel locker on receipt. A handling fee may apply, shown at checkout. Available for Hungarian deliveries only.
- Bank transfer (advance): the Customer transfers the price to the account number provided in the confirmation email; the parcel ships after the funds arrive. Available for Hungarian orders only.
6. Shipping
The Operator offers courier home delivery ([KITÖLTENDŐ: courier name]) and/or parcel locker pickup. Exact fees and conditions are shown at checkout and on the Shipping and payment page. Delivery within the EU usually takes longer than domestic delivery (which is typically 1 to 3 business days). Orders finalised and paid before 12:00 (Budapest time, on business days) are dispatched the same day where possible.
The Customer should inspect the parcel on receipt and have any damage recorded with the courier. The Operator cannot accept later quantity or damage claims made without such a record.
7. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), a Customer who qualifies as a consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the consumer (or a third party indicated by the consumer, other than the carrier) takes possession of the goods; for multiple items, from receipt of the last item. The consumer may also exercise the right between contract formation and receipt of the goods. The right is exercised in time if the notice is sent before the 14-day period expires.
The intention to withdraw must be communicated by an unequivocal statement (for example using the sample in section 12) to [KITÖLTENDŐ: customer service email], or by post to [KITÖLTENDŐ: mailing address]. The burden of proving that the right was exercised in accordance with this section lies with the consumer.
Refund: on withdrawal, the Operator refunds the full amount paid by the consumer, including the cost of outbound delivery (except extra costs arising from the consumer choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard option), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from being informed of the withdrawal. The refund uses the same payment method, unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise, at no extra cost to the consumer. The Operator may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or the consumer has supplied proof of return, whichever is earlier.
Returning the goods: the consumer must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from communicating the withdrawal. The direct cost of return is borne by the consumer. The consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Limits: under Section 29 of Decree 45/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to sealed goods which cannot be returned after opening for health protection or hygiene reasons. For an installed (applied) film, or a product whose protective packaging has been removed so that it can no longer be resold, the right of withdrawal may be limited. Conditions for accepting an unopened, intact returned product are set out in the Withdrawal information.
8. Supplier's warranty (kellékszavatosság)
In case of defective performance, the Customer may bring a statutory warranty claim against the Operator under the Civil Code. The Customer may request repair or replacement, unless this is impossible or would cause disproportionate extra cost to the Operator compared with another remedy. Where repair or replacement is not available, the Customer may request a proportionate price reduction, may have the defect remedied at the Operator's expense, or may withdraw from the contract. There is no withdrawal for an insignificant defect. A consumer must report the defect without delay, at the latest within two months of discovery. Such claims lapse two years from performance.
9. Product warranty (termékszavatosság)
For a defect in the product, a consumer may, instead of a supplier's warranty claim, bring a product warranty claim against the manufacturer or distributor. The product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when placed on the market, or lacks the characteristics described by the manufacturer. The consumer may request repair or replacement. This claim may be brought within two years of the product being placed on the market. The manufacturer is exempt only on the statutory grounds (e.g. the defect was not detectable at the state of science and technology when placed on the market). Supplier's and product warranty claims cannot be enforced in parallel for the same defect.
10. Guarantee (jótállás)
The Operator provides a voluntary (contractual) guarantee on Vitrio products covering installation and manufacturing defects, for a period of [KITÖLTENDŐ: exact guarantee duration, e.g. 2 years]. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect the consumer's statutory rights. Where the mandatory guarantee under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) applies, the Operator is also bound by it. Claims may be made with the guarantee card or the purchase document (invoice or receipt). The guarantee does not cover defects arising from improper use, handling, installation deviating from the Vitrio procedure, or normal wear. Start a claim on the warranty page.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
The Customer may submit complaints by phone or in writing to [KITÖLTENDŐ: customer service email] or [KITÖLTENDŐ: customer service phone]. Oral complaints are addressed immediately where possible; written complaints are answered on the merits within 30 days, with reasons given for any rejection. If the Customer disagrees, they may turn to the competent consumer protection authority (the government office for the consumer's residence), the competent conciliation board (for the consumer's residence or the Operator's seat: [KITÖLTENDŐ: name, address and contact of the conciliation board competent for the registered office]), or the courts.

14. Data
See the Privacy notice for details on the processing of personal data.
15. Final provisions, amendments
The Operator may amend these Terms unilaterally; amendments take effect on publication and do not affect orders placed beforehand, which remain governed by the Terms in force at the time of order. Matters not regulated here are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code, Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) and the E-commerce Act.
